Illustrating the cardboard man Danbo was a lot of fun! Initially, it was challenging to get the proportions right and the shadows but as I worked on it for quite some time, it got easier.

Sushi time!

This was really challenging such that I just wanted to give up and choose another object. First of all, I couldn’t figure out which angle to go for;top or side view as I felt no matter which angle I chose it would be hard to figure it out. Once I chose an angle, getting the different shades and texture right was really hard. It really helped when our professors introduced us to the “make with warp” tool right when I was working on this! It was with this tool I created the shape of the object.

I also made an illustration of a rattle drum that I had made.

Finally, I made my first ever avatar! I really enjoy reading books and so I based my avatar on this aspect.
